Welcome

We are delighted you have found our website. We are a congregation made up of all kinds of people who are committed to following the Lord Jesus, being faithful to His calling, and bearing fruit in all good works.

Our Sunday worship starts at 10:15 AM and lasts about 75 minutes. The service focuses on helping you express yourself to God through music and opening your heart to the Holy Spirit through the dynamic preaching by one of our teaching pastors.

what to expect

Visiting a new church can be nerve-wracking. Here are answers to some questions that will make your first Sunday with us less stressful.

What will my experience be like?

From the moment you enter the front door we want to do everything we can to help you feel at home. We'll have greeters at the doors, hosts in the lobby, and ushers in the sanctuary all ready to help you find your way around. Before you find a seat, make sure to stop by Connections Cafe for a flavored coffee! As the service starts, we hope you find that everything from the music to the message helps you engage with God.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable. Some people dress in casual clothes, and others in their "Sunday best." Whatever you wear, you'll fit right in!

What's the music like?

We intentionally have a blended worship style that includes today's music as well as some of the great hymns of the faith. Our musicians include guitarists, drummers, keyboardists, and vocalists. We sing songs that are easy to understand, and help us to sing from our hearts and connect with God. Our goal is that people participate in worship rather than watch a performance.

Will they ask me for money?

We will take an offering, but we believe the offering is an opportunity for those who call BMC "home" to share financially in what God is doing here. As a guest, we desire that you seek God with us and not worry about giving until God prompts you to do so.

Do my kids sit with me?

That's up to you. If you want to stay together until you're all more familiar with Beulah, your children are welcome in "Big People's Church." We do have a nursery for infants and toddlers and age-appropriate worship for Pre-K kids (Beulah Kids:Preschool) and K-5th graders (Beulah Kids). This gives your kids the opportunity to meet others their age and worship God at their level. It also gives you the freedom to relax, knowing they are in good hands. We also have a closed circuit mother's room for nursing mothers or those needing a bit of privacy.

What is the teaching like?

Bible-centered and relevant. Depending on when you visit you will hear a message from one of our teaching pastors: Pastor Earl or Pastor Joel. Each of our gifted pastors have a different style, and both teach in a way that helps make the truth of God's Word easy to understand and apply to your life. Sunday morning teachings typically last 30-40 minutes. Our hope is that as you hear the word of God presented you will allow the Holy Spirit to use it for the Lord's intended purpose in your life.

What does your church believe?

We've outlined our core beliefs here. Beliefs can either unite us or divide us. At Beulah, we make an effort to focus on those bedrock beliefs that we share, rather than the small differences we may have.
